Ilya Novohatskyi
Ilya Novohatskyi
Hey there. Long time no see.
Last week I visited Egypt, and many things happened on tour. I’ve even been in hospital with a stomach infection. Photos are here.
That was tough. Will write a thread about it.
Besides that, I want to present you our December summary, show community life, and a few cool micro-startups.
Enjoy!

🙌 December summary
For me, growth is about long-term relationships and customers’ loyalty to a company.
These two metrics will show you how “successful” your startup is.
I see how people frequently use our website, send me bug reports, show appreciation. And that motivates me a lot.

We did great work to grow in December. I hope January will give us more opportunities to spread the word about Microns.
Slow and steady wins the race.
👨‍👩‍👧 Community spotlight
This week we discussed a set of new features people want to see on Microns. I count every vote and feedback.
The first thing we decided was to implement monthly subscriptions.
But why?
Many people can’t afford a yearly subscription or don’t want to pay all at once.
Every week we have something to discuss in the group.
Every week we have something to discuss in the group.
When I start a company, I reinvest all revenue entirely into growth.
A yearly subscription gives you a great chance to sponsor creators, start a challenge or make a giveaway. But with a monthly subscription, to do something similar is much more challenging.
Considering this, I decided to make a monthly subscription starting at $24. And yes, we launched it today.
Of course, yearly subscription is better because I can easily reinvest that money into growth immediately by sponsoring some newsletters and communities.
For example, like I did this week for @workspacesxyz community👇
Ryan Gilbert
118 editions later and @workspacesxyz has its first official sponsor 🎉

Thanks @ilyanovohatskyi for taking a chance and letting the community know about @micronsio 🙌 https://t.co/JJlwSUUZki

💁‍♂️ Hi, I am looking for a partner to help me spread my digital product to other markets. I have a very successful product on the Polish market, but I have no idea and skills to sell it in other countries. Feel free to contact me.
🤖 Our product AI-based design software is ready to go. I and my co-founder are looking for a third co-founder as a marketing manager.
