Hey guys.
This month I spent preparing our marketplace for Product Hunt launch. We fixed many bugs and prepared platform for high load. Thank you everyone who provided feedback, it makes our project better every day.
In today’s newsletter, you’ll learn about the founder who completed his successful 4th deal, Microns first launch, an AI SaaS deal review, and Product Hunt alternatives (I tried BetaList; here are the results).
I want to dedicate this newsletter edition to my wife, who has always supported me during my journey as an entrepreneur. If you’re engaged say “I love you” more often.

Now let’s crack on with the newsletter ☕️
😸 Launching on PH next week
Three years ago, I launched Microns on Product Hunt. It was 2021, and I was in Odesa, Ukraine (there was no war yet). I swam and chilled out with my wife. On the last day of our weekend, I recorded a personal video and launched Microns on PH.
At that stage, it was a concept with 15 startup listings and around 150 newsletter subscribers — nothing serious. We’ve got third place of the day. It was a great success for me as an indie founder. People loved the idea.
Since then, many things have changed, and Microns have evolved. We sold over 70 startups worth $300k+. During this period, I collected customer feedback that helped me build an awesome platform (it took me one year and $25k).
Currently, three people are working on the project: I (execution & marketing), my friend Max (development) and design freelancer. In 2024, I plan to hire a VA to help me with operations. Last week, we finally fixed most of the bugs (thanks to people who provided feedback). And ready to launch Microns v2.
Launch day: April 30th, Tuesday, 12:01 am PST. You need to create a PH account upfront if you want to support us on this date. I prepare a cool video presentation, so you will be delighted.
P.S. Microns is fully bootstrapped, so your support on this day is crucial.
🎉 Recently sold startup
This time we sold a newsletter bookmark mobile app called Linksaber. It helped people to create a custom newsletter based on their preferences.
During the exit, Linksaber had 55 customers and $230 in annual revenue. It was built using Swift, Firebase, and Node.js. The project was sold for $2,000 (8.69x multiplier). The sale included iOS app & Telegram bot, which will auto-remind you about your saved links in a weekly newsletter format.
At Microns, I have a strong bet on online tech projects. This includes not only micro-SaaS, web apps, extensions but also mobile apps. Mobile apps have a strong PMF, distribution model, and a huge market. Almost every person nowadays has a phone with iOS or Android on it. Based on research, the average American spends 4.5 hours per day on phone. I hope you got the idea.
I like people like Ferhat (founder of Linksaber) from Turkey. I met him online one year ago, and we had a lovely chat. I shared my vision of Micron's future and gave some advice. He is a young entrepreneur who builds, experiments and has fun during the process. It was his fourth sale on Microns, and I appreciate his loyalty. Such people motivate me super hard. I love it.
If you have a profitable startup, feel free to submit it, and we'll find you a buyer.
🔎 SaaS deal review
A few weeks ago, Shlomo, who runs Free Financial Self YouTube channel, invited me to review one of our deals on Microns. It was my first experience, so I was a little bit worried. I tried to be subjective and conservative to make review more interesting. Let me know if you like the format, and we’ll make more videos for you.

I was trying to list my startup but was rejected because I didn't put my display picture as myself (I used my startup's logo). Why do you enforce that? Just curious.
