Now let’s crack on with the newsletter ☕️
📢 Sponsored by Dofollow
Before we begin... a big thank you to this week's sponsor.
I researched and found this success story on their website. They helped to grow HR based SaaS platform called Nectar from 0 to 40k traffic a month. It’s insane!
What dofollow did? They leveraged several different types of link building for Nectar: HARO, competitor analysis, and larger content marketing efforts.
What are results? Nectar went from zero demo bookings per month to over 50. They also went from less than 1,000 organic traffic/month to over 40,000/month.
🎉 Recently sold startup
This week, we sold the DocuTalk web app. It helped businesses automate customer support queries from their knowledge base. The project had 400 users and $100 in ARR. It was built using React, Pinecone, and Supabase.
The asking price started at $3k but quickly rose because the project became so popular among our buyers that they began to bid. In the end deal price was defined at $8k. The founder and buyer were happy.
I'm glad to help other entrepreneurs succeed. So if you have a profitable project, feel free to submit it, and we'll help you find a new owner.
🤩 Our new logo
This week, I worked on the design for our new logo. My main idea was to show the connections Microns creates. The logo should be simple, unique, and trustworthy.
Here’s what I got in the first iteration with the graphic designer 👇
I analyzed responses on Twitter and discussed them with my team. We had a fun time together and made many tweaks during the process.
Here’s the final result 😍
I love the simplicity and the way it shows connection. It (abstractly) represents two entrepreneurs shaking hands. I also like smooth lines and colors, which 100% reflect our new design. WDYT?
