🎉 Recently sold startup
Last week, we found a new owner for a WordPress plugin called eRoom. It’s a webinar & meeting plugin with over 10,000 active installs. It allowed users to create and manage online meetings and webinars directly from their WP websites using Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams.
At the time of the exit, eRoom had 151 paying customers and over 10,000 installations. The plugin was built using WordPress, PHP and CSS. It generated over $10,000 in annual revenue. The plugin had 5 years of revenue history and great customer reviews. From listing to exit took 37 days.
This acquisition was successful thanks to the plugin’s strong rating and proven track record. It solves a real problem for WordPress users, making it valuable on its own. Wishing the buyer a great ROI, and we’d love to see the seller list more plugins, there’s strong demand for extensions on the platform.
