Small newsletter about indie startups was acquired
Hey everyone.
This week I spent most of my time working on transfer service (content, legal, operational part, etc.). It will improve the user experience, save time and make acquisitions stress-free. I have a big hope to release the service next week.
I aim to build and grow the most friendly marketplace for people passionate about online tech businesses. For entrepreneurs who love to run their own online business and live life on their conditions. And to make it possible, I want to have all services that smooth the process of buying startups in the first place.
So if you have any ideas about improvements reply to me. I am always keen to listen to feedback, especially if it's brutal but honest. This way, we can improve the platform for all existing and future customers. Thank you for helping our community evolve.

Now let’s crack on with the newsletter ☕️
🎉 Recently sold startup
New micro-sale of a newsletter that covered interesting bootstrapped projects from indie hackers. It had 770+ subscribers and $58 in revenue. Monetized by sponsorships. The startup was built using Carrd and Beehiiv. The seller didn't have enough time to run the project.
It was a good deal because the buyer had paid $1.95 per subscriber. Depending on the industry, paying between $2 to $4 per subscriber is okay if you acquire a newsletter. But always check engagement metrics such as open and click rates.
Give new owner support by checking the website and signing up for the newsletter. Besides this, if you run a profitable project but want to cash out for some reason, submit the form, and we'll do the rest.
🍿 Transfer service (soon)
Next week I'm going to release the Transfer by Microns service. It'll help secure and close transactions on the platform without using any third-party services like escrow dot com or tazapay.
Many people asked me to launch this service because of the problems they experienced with other providers - slow, zero transparency, lousy customer support, etc. After one of the transactions, the seller gave me feedback about tazapay service, and I decided to act immediately to create the transfer service inside Microns.
I finish all legal documents this week with my lawyer to make the service 100% legit and reliable. The service will include agreement, payments, and 24/7 customer support to close your acquisition successfully.
The service will be optional, meaning you can use other providers to close your acquisition on Microns. Still, I assure that you'll forget about other solutions once you try our transfer service.
