SMS automation platform generated $56k
A recap of this week's updates at Microns and 15 ways to promote your startup.
Hey everyone.
The last newsletter became popular with 10,370 views. I received so many replies from my subscribers. People loved the transparency and reached out about collaboration. Thank you to everyone who reads and shares this newsletter.
This week, I already set up and paid for three monthly sponsorships in different newsletters; the other two are in progress. I plan to sponsor at least 10 newsletters, so if you have an active newsletter about startups with 1-20k subscribers and a 40%+ open rate, contact me.
Besides that, I started proofreading one of our new blog posts about mobile app ideas. It includes examples of 60 ideas that are relevant these days in 2025. I remember how I, with a few folks, developed one such app in 2017 at a hackathon. It allowed you to take a photo of a paper check and split it with your friends. It was a great time when I learned React Native and how machine learning works in practice.
In today's newsletter:
What's new on Microns;
SMS marketing platform with $56k in ARR;
Founder of text-to-speech SaaS decreased the price by $20k;
7 weeks marketing challenge from Alex to grow 7 indie products.
P.S. Special thanks to Pedro Moorcraft, who wrote a brief Microns overview in his blog. I highly appreciate it.

⚙️ What’s new on Microns
This week, my team worked on fixing bugs and improving the platform. One of the significant bugs we fixed was uploading avatars when you create a new profile. It was essential, and I thank all users who reported the issue so we could quickly resolve it.
We reworked the loading state for listings. One slight improvement that makes the loading process look smooth. I like it. What do you think?
One of our buyers asked me: "What if the seller has a few competing offers? How will it work?". On our platform, if the seller has a few offers and they accept one, the others will be archived automatically. As a result, other buyers can't contact or make any offers during the acquisition. It will allow to secure the deal for the buyer and help the seller focus on closing the deal without any distractions from other buyers.
If the acquisition falls through, then the listing will become available again, and all Premium buyers can contact and make offers. Besides this, buyers who added the listing to the watchlist will be notified that the listing is no longer under offer, and you can discuss it with the seller.
More cool things will be added to the marketplace soon. Do you have a feature request? You can reply and I'll add it to our list.
