Hey everyone.
This week, I started working on marketing campaign to promote Microns in different niche newsletters. Feel free to reach out if you write newsletters or blogs about startups.
Besides that, this week, we developed improvements for our admin dashboard to manage users, listings, offers, and reports easily. It will save Oksana more time and make the process convenient. Also, I discussed some improvements with our designer for March. I'm excited.
At the end of this newsletter, in the "Share with a friend" section, I added a short sentence of valuable insight for the day. It's based on my experience, and I hope it will be useful for you. Let me know what you think about this addition.
In today’s newsletter:
Collaboration request;
How our marketplace grew in 2024;
AI presentation generator with $41k in ARR;
15 lessons from Steven on how to grow your mobile app to $45k MRR.
P.S. Thank you to everyone who reads and shares this newsletter. I appreciate all your support. Together, we'll make Microns successful for all the founders worldwide.

🤝 Collaboration request
This week, I started working on a marketing campaign for Microns and plan to sponsor a bunch of creators from the startup and online business world. I'm mostly looking for niche newsletters, but if you have X, TikTok, or a blog, I'd love to hear your ideas for collaboration.
I want those creators to use Microns (I provide Premium access) and do their honest review of our marketplace with all the pros and cons. All feedback is valuable and will help us improve the project over time. Even if you want to roast our site and platform, I'd be happy to read :)
📊 Summary of 2024
Yesterday, I received a P&L statement from my bookkeeper and was happy with the revenue growth. Microns LLC was incorporated in 2021, and during this period, our marketplace maintained 50% year-over-year income growth.
Of course, we still have pretty high expenses, but it mainly relates to design and development. We launched offers features and made many UI/UX improvements. Besides that, I reinvested half of the revenue into growth, such as SEO and sponsorships. It helps us continuously evolve and attract more founders.
But this growth wouldn't be possible without my two most important and risky decisions. First, I realized we need to move from MVP into a more sustainable product phase and rebuild the site from a directory into a marketplace. And secondly, hiring people to delegate design and development.
During 2023/2024, I hired a designer and developer from Ukraine. Why? Because of communication (we speak the same language) and quality/price balance. By hiring professionals from Ukraine, you get high quality for a mid-price tag. I'm happy working with them almost two years from now.
In one year we developed Microns v2 a completely custom and professionally looking site and platform. I launched it on Product Hunt, and we became #1 that day (thanks to my community). We've got a second wave of traction and started working on an offers feature to bring transactions into the marketplace. Earlier, we helped our customers close transactions through transfer service, a fully manual service without automation and statuses.
When we started the transfer service, we earned around $2k in the first year and around $5k in the second. Now, we have integrated this service into the platform, added a bunch of automation and statuses, and removed friction. I prognose that the commission revenue will grow at least two times this year, but we'll see how it goes.
My main goal is to support founders by offering a curated marketplace for buying and selling startups with ease. And we slowly but steadily go in that direction.
If you have a profitable startup, feel free to submit it, and we'll find you a buyer.
