I had my 27th birthday at the start of October, so I took time to relax and recharge. I’m glad to get back to work again.
The good news is that we already started the development of asset purchase flow that will help buyers make offers through the platform to close deals easier and faster. That’s where my main focus is now.

🎉 Recently sold startup
Earlier in October, we sold a marketplace project called PixelBazaar. It helped designers and developers discover premium icons for their apps.
During the exit, PixelBazaar had 250 customers and $4,800 in annual revenue. It was built using Webflow and Flodesk. The project was sold for $7,000 (1.45x revenue multiplier). The seller sold a project to retire faster.
It’s a great example because the buyer and seller were a great fit. They both passionate about design and icons. Zlatko (seller) run this project since 2012, so for him, it was a big step. I believe the buyer will continue developing and capitalizing on the project. I’m glad we have buyers looking for marketplace projects besides micro-SaaS, mobile apps, and newsletters.

💰 From idea to exit
One of the core principles I follow in building Microns is transparency. That’s why I reworked our listing page for sold startups, so you can learn and get inspired by the story behind every acquisition.
This time, we have Shri, a founder from India, who sold his micro-SaaS in just 4 days and landed a $12k freelance project from one of the potential buyers on Microns, resulting in $18k deal. This story is so powerful that I recommend everyone to check it out. It showed me that our platform influences not only acquisitions but the job market too.
I love it when both buyer and seller win from the deal. And this is precisely the case. The buyer grew the project to around $2k MRR and is now looking to sell the project to acquire a bigger business. Based on my information, the buyer 4x the acquisition by operating ColdDM for a year, and he could at least 3x it after the sale, totaling 12x return.
